Our Akitas got published!

Headquarter of AKIHO in Japan publishes a magazine every 2-3 months and mails them out the all members in the world.

This current edition, three of our pups are in it!  How exciting is that!!

Waka is pregnant!

She's pregnant!  Confirmed by Dr. Michaelson at the small animal hospital.  He saw 3-4 puppies moving around.  Waka was bred to Kita 4 weeks ago, so the puppies are due at the end of June.
Boy... this month is going to fly by!!  Gotta get the puppy room ready!!

America's Family Pet Expo

Got to see Kita's kids at the Pet Expo over the weekend.  They grow up so fast...

Here is Akiko from Kita and Waka. She's now 8 months old.



Here is Roki, Akiko's littermate brother, also 8 months old.


Kaya is from Kita and Kaeda and she's 4.5 months old.

2012 JACA and AKIHO Show

On February 11th, 2012, Japanese Akita Club of America (JACA) had its annual Japanese Akita Dog Show in Gardena, CA.
On February 12th, 2012, Akitainu Hozonkai, Los Angeles Branch had its 39th annual Dog Show as well.
