2012 JACA and AKIHO Show

On February 11th, 2012, Japanese Akita Club of America (JACA) had its annual Japanese Akita Dog Show in Gardena, CA.
On February 12th, 2012, Akitainu Hozonkai, Los Angeles Branch had its 39th annual Dog Show as well.

Here are the results, names and pictures of the Akitas:

Emi Go Kamurosansoh (Wakainu Female Class)
1st Place in JACA - 3rd Place in AKIHO

Yuusaku Go Shirai (Sohken Male Class)
1st Place in JACA - 1st Place in AKIHO

Wakakusa Go Shirai (Seiken Female Class)
3rd Place in JACA - Tokuyu Award in AKIHO

Kitanoumi Go Shirai (Seiken Female Class)
1st Place in JACA - 1st Place in AKIHO

Waka loves Persimmons

At this time every year, I would be eating my home grown persimmons.
Not this year... cause Waka ate them all... when they were all green!

Behind the bars...

Not a great photo... but kinda cute.
We have lots of baby gates around the house... so that the doggies can't get to certain areas/rooms.
Yumi, Emi, Gobo and Azuki were behind one of the gates which makes them look like they are behind bars in a jailhouse...  Anyhow, still cute, I think.
